Katie Neil

Katie Neil is well-known to curlers across southern Ontario. She is the Zone 12 youth representative for the Ontario Curling Association and also serves as a Level 2 official for the OCA. A competitive curler herself with over 35 years of experience, Katie earned a spot in the 2012 Ontario Provincial Senior Women’s Championships with her rink from Brampton, skipped by Dale Curtis.

In Waterloo Region, Katie is perhaps better known for her role in developing young curling athletes in Cambridge. She has over 20 years of experience with leading Little Rock, bantam and junior programs as convener, fund raiser, and coach. Katie has coached a team to the silver medal at the Ontario Secondary School (OFSSA) championships.

Katie’s role at the Golden Hawks HPC is in recruiting and talent identification of young athletes.
