Team Canada leaves for Karuizawa

On Wednesday, 18 January the K-W Granite Club hosted a brief gathering to send off the Laura Crocker rink from Wilfrid Laurier University as they represent Canada at the Karuizawa International Curling Championships in Nagano, Japan later this month.

Team Canada, who are the 2011 CIS champions, is made up of Laura Crocker at skip, Sarah Wilkes at third, Jen Gates at second, Pam Feldkamp at lead, Cheryl Kreviazuk at alternate, and are coached by Maurice Wilson.
